The technology institute specializes in the research of new technologies in the field of renewable energy,
including solar power generation, and supports the expertise required in the sites.
From research phase, we gather opinions of field engineers to improve productivity and reduce cost,
and the developed technology is applied to the sites through complete quality verification procedures.
In particular, we are conducting power generation efficiency improvement research, real-time efficiency analysis
and state analysis research, maintenance system research, renewable energy application technology research,
new business item discovery and technology research, and we are making our utmost effort to develop core technologies
for the new value creation and sustainable growth.
Main Technology
  • Solar power plant management system and RTU
    From Topinfra, RTU is developed to integrate and manage the power plants so that the majority of inverters used in the country can be integrated. In addition, real-time comparison between power plants is possible and system construction costs can be reduced.
  • Smart ventilation fan
    The smart ventilation fan of Topinfra is a system that self-diagnoses the fault and informs the manager promptly, and the efficiency decrease and fault due to the temperature rise in power plant are prevented in advance. In addition, compared with conventional ventilation fans, it is possible to reduce internal power consumption by about 10%, thus reducing maintenance cost.
  • Communication fault automatic recovery device
    Topinfra communication fault automatic recovery system can check the communication process at the power plant site in real time and automatically detect and recover the cause of the fault to reduce communication fault recovery cost which is the biggest aspect of maintenance.
  • Thermal imaging drone for solar power generation monitoring
    The thermal imaging drone developed by Topinfra is designed to detect module failures in solar power plant installed in large areas. Thermal image photographing device is applied to find hotspots and easily diagnose solar modules installed in large area. The thermal imaging drone can also be used for fault diagnosis of steel towers.
